A perfect crescent beach and a gorgeous little beach bar/restaurant (Jolanda’s Restaurant) – bliss! We are staying with Dutch friends that we first met in Nepal (on their Yamaha XT600s) about 9 years ago.
Jolanda and Leon are great company and they are remarkable people. They have a great restaurant, and a short drive inland they have also built a charming low-key ‘mini resort’ of asian-style wooden huts, where they live with their assorted dogs and cats surrounded by hills and jungle vegetation. The garden is full of exotic fruit trees that they have planted (lemon, lime, orange, mango, jackfruit…)
