…and an ‘interesting’ opportunity to practise lots of new Spanish vocabulary, such as ‘police report’.Early this morning we were packed and ready to set off from our hotel in Danli for the Honduras/Nicaraguan border when I realised it was gone. So we turned around and now here we are in Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras (mercifully known as Tegus for short).
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office warns that an application for a replacement passport could take 6 weeks. I REALLY hope not.
Nightmare!!! If you had to lose your passport you should have done it at El Tunco at least you could have, surfed & lazed on the beach while Gilles served you Pizza and beer!!
